The Doctoral Consortium in Rhetoric and Composition<https://ccccdoctoralconsortium.org/> will host a sponsored session at CCCC 2025<https://cccc.ncte.org/cccc/call-2025> (April 9-12 in Baltimore) focused on the distinct material conditions and needs of international graduate students enrolled in U.S. master’s or doctoral programs. Some topics panelists might address:
* Learning styles
* Language differences

* Cultural, social, and economic issues
* Visa process and program timing
* Discrimination and xenophobia
* Graduate program support
* Faculty support and pedagogical approaches
* Mental health and well-being
* Belonging
* Work/life balance
* Writing challenges
We would like to include faculty and graduate students on this panel. If you’re interested, send a brief note to Erin Clark at froste at ecu.edu<mailto:froste at ecu.edu>. Feel free to forward this message to those whom you think might be interested. Please note that being part of a sponsored panel does not limit participation on other panels as a speaker, chair, or respondent. Also, sponsored panels are guaranteed to be included on the program.
