[ATTW-L] Associate Professor Position in Technical Communication at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University

I am happy to announce that Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, in Prescott, AZ is seeking applicants for a 9-month, tenure-track Assistant Professor of Technical Communication.


The successful candidate will teach a 4/4 load of undergraduate courses in technical writing, professional writing, and business communication, as well as other writing-related courses that fit the department’s needs and the candidate’s interests; this teaching load may include courses that are team-taught with colleagues in the College of Engineering.


A Ph.D. in Rhetoric and Composition, Technical Communication, Professional Writing, or related field at the time of the appointment (Aug 1, 2019) is required. The successful candidate must have experience teaching writing courses at the college level, evidence of scholarship, and an interest in working with the department to develop certificates and programs of study.
