Charlotte made the lives she touched just a bit better, and had a way of laughing in the face of life’s absurdities. I need that strength and perseverance to say goodbye.

I am sorry to have to tell you that Charlotte Hyde (PhD, 2016) passed away Friday April 26. She had suffered an aneurysm in December. She was Assistant Professor of English at Kansas State University.

Visitation is Wednesday night (May 1) and memorial Thursday morning (May 2) in Grapevine, Texas at Lucas Funeral Home.
