Dear Colleagues,

We are thrilled to share that the latest issue of *Rhetoric of Health and
Medicine* journal is now available!

This special issue, “In Living Color: Amplifying Racial Justice Work in
RHM,” was compiled by guest co-editors, Drs. Veronica Joyner, Kimberly C.
Harper, and Maria Novotny. In the introduction, the authors contend that
“scholarship for racial justice in the pursuit of health equity must
support amplification of marginalized perspectives, actions that reflect an
acceptance of diverse perspectives, and accountability for those actions.”

In issue 6.2, you will find:

· "'Dismantle or Step Aside': The Road to HIV Racial Justice Now!
and The Push for Racial Liberation in the Domestic HIV Movement," a
research article by Deion S. Hawkins, Andrew Spieldenner, Venita Ray,
Olivia G. Ford, and Marvell L. Terry, II

· "Infertile Exclusions: Countering Race-Based Hyperfertility
Narratives Online," a research article by Laura McCann

· "'Redefining Our Own Center': An Interview with Stevie Merino," a
dialogue by Natalie Fixmer-Oraiz and Shui-yin Sharon Yam

· "Pain, No Gain?: A Narrative Analysis Exploring the Accounts of
Older African American Patients and Their Discussion of Pain Management
Related to Chronic Illness," a persuasion brief by Carly Braxton, K.M.
Begian-Lewis, Richard Marback, and Heather Fritz

· and "Remember to P.A.C.K. for Racially Inclusive Content
Strategy: An Infographic and Call to Action” by Sara Doan and Cristy Kennedy
